Online Custodian Account Application
You can open a
Bogota Savings Bank
account anytime or from anywhere that is convenient for you. It’s simple and secure to open a new
account. It takes just minutes!
The online application should not be used in a shared environment, such as a library, as someone may be
watching you type in your personal information.
Here's what you will need for the minor (owner):
- To be under the age of 18.
- Birth Certificate.
- Social Security Card.
Here's what you will need for each Custodian:
- To be 18 years of age or older.
- Your Social Security Number / Individual Taxpayer Identification Number.
- Government Issued Identification (Driver's License, State ID, or Passport).
- If another person will be named as a Successor Custodian on your accounts, they must enter and validate their
personal information.
- If funding your new accounts by electronic transfer from another financial institution,
you’ll need their routing number and your account number.
- You must be a New Jersey resident.

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law
requires all Financial Institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each
person who opens an account.
What this means to you: When you open an account, we will ask your name, address, date of birth, and
other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license
or other identifying documents.
