Open a Christian Financial Account or Apply for a Loan

You can open a Christian Financial Credit Union account anytime or from anywhere that is convenient for you. It’s simple and secure to open a new account. It takes just minutes! The online application should not be used in a shared environment, such as a library, as someone may be watching you type in your personal information.

The Member Identification Program (MIP), Section 326 of the USA PATRIOT Act, requires all financial institutions to obtain four pieces of information from potential members. When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address; date of birth, your tax identification number, and other identifying information that will allow us to identify you. We will also ask to see your unexpired state issued ID such as a driver’s license or state ID or other pictured identifying documents as required by law. NOTE: Business accounts, HSAs and IRAs are not able to be opened online.

Here's what you will need:

  • You must be 18 years of age or older
  • Your Social Security Number / Individual Taxpayer Identification Number
  • Government Issued Identification (Driver's License, State ID, or Passport)
  • If another person will be joint on your accounts, they must enter and validate their personal information
  • If funding your new accounts by electronic transfer from another financial institution, you’ll need their routing number and your account number (NOTE: Funding via this method limited to $1,500)
  • If funding with a debit or credit card, you’ll need the card number, expiration date, and CVV code. (NOTE: Funding via this method limited to $250)
  • $10 for a new member account opening fee
