IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OPENING AN ACCOUNT

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, US Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person identified as a “customer”, who opens an account.

What this means for you:
If you are opening an account for yourself or another individual, we will ask for the name, address, date of birth, social security number, and other information that will allow us to identify all customers on the account. We may also ask to see a driver’s license, passport or other identifying documents.

What You'll Need:

Reside within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Applicants from New England states and beyond will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
To be 14 years of age or older.
Your Social Security Number / Individual Taxpayer Identification Number.
Government Issued Identification (Driver's License, State ID, or Passport).
If another person will be joint on your accounts, they must enter and validate their personal information.
If funding your new accounts by electronic transfer from another financial institution, you’ll need access to your online banking.
If funding with a debit or credit card, you’ll need the card number, expiration date, and CVV code.
