You can open a Mars Bank account anytime or from anywhere that is convenient for you. It’s simple and secure to open a new account. It takes just minutes!
The online application should not be used in a shared environment, such as a library, as someone may be watching you type in your personal information.
Here's what you will need:
- To be 18 years of age or older.
- Your Social Security Number / Individual Taxpayer Identification Number.
- A photo or scan of your Government Issued Identification (Driver's License, State ID, or Passport). Acceptable formats include .pdf, jpg, jpeg, gif, tif, tiff, bmp, png.
- If another person will be a joint owner on your account(s), they must enter and validate their personal information.
- If funding your new accounts by electronic transfer from another financial institution, you’ll need their routing number and your account number.

What this means for you:
When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
