  • To be 18 years of age or older.
  • Your Social Security Number / Individual Taxpayer Identification Number.
  • Government Issued Identification (Drivers License, DMV Non Driver's ID, or Passport).
  • Proof of eligibility required (NIH Badge, Employment ID, recent Paystub.)
  • Residential US address required.
  • Non US Citizens are required to complete and upload a W-8 form.
  • If another person will be joint on your accounts, they must enter and validate their personal information including a government issued ID.
  • If funding your new accounts by electronic transfer from another financial institution, you’ll need their routing number and your account number.
  • If funding with a debit or credit card, you’ll need the card number, expiration date, and CVV code.
  • If you are a current member of NIHFCU, you can apply for a loan and additional accounts via Online Banking or our Mobile Banking App.
