Online IRA Application

Open a Ridgewood Savings Bank retirement account anytime, anywhere. It’s simple, secure, and takes just minutes! We welcome all residents of New York State.

For your security, do not enter personal information on a shared computer in a public environment.

Important Information about Procedures for Opening a New Account

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What This Means To You:

When you open a new account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

Click here to see what you will need:

  • To be 18 years of age or older and have earned income.
  • Your Social Security Number / Individual Taxpayer Identification Number.
  • Government Issued Identification (Driver's License, State ID, or Passport).
  • Your account and routing number, if funding by electronic transfer from another bank.

Only current year contributions are permitted through the Bank's online IRA account opening. Please visit your local branch to open accounts funded by IRA Rollover or Transfer.
