- Have a government-issued ID (such as a Driver's License or Passport) available to upload
- Be able to enter and validate joint account information
- Have your debit or credit card number with CVV code if funding your account with a card

Procedures for Opening a New Account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal Law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you:
You can open a Verve, a Credit Union, account anytime from anywhere with internet access. Our online application process is short, easy, and secure.
When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
Please note: To keep your personal information secure, do not complete this application in a public setting (such as a library or coffee shop).
